Nathan Baran is Looking for Work:
Artful, demanding, galvanizing work in the interactive entertainment industry:
I'm a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center, where I focused on game design and storytelling in games.
I'm a proponent of goal-focused design, rapid prototyping and iteration, and--to paraphrase legendary game designer Ken Rolston--for designers to serve as a project's creative scouts, who venture into the unknown frontiers of possibility and return to their teams with the cartographic evidence of what they witnessed. I'm interested in delving heedlessly into any game design challenge, regardless of platform, genre, or audience.
